I moved to a new area and needed a carpenter. I had a few come out. One was Tussle Homes. Marlon is the owner and carpenter. He is wonderful! His quote was reasonable , he explained everything to me and kept me informed about his time. He worked  with me and I felt very secure in my choice to choose Russel Homes. Thanks to Marlon at THR for helping me out. I previously had two bathrooms remodeled and discovered problems after contractor left. My master shower leaked water into the basement and rendered the shower useless. Marlon came out and was originally going to replace the drain. Once he took it apart he discovered what we both feared, cracks in the pan around the drain hole.i gave him the go ahead and he replaced the pan and walls, as well as the drain. He even made sure doors were installed properly,,which did not happen with the original contractor. Marlon did not ask me for any money until job was completed and I was satisfied.  The leak appears to have been corrected.  Marlon was easy to work with and cleaned up well after he was done. They laid down plastic to protect work area and the rest of the house. Marlon’s technical skills are terrific, but his communication style rules. He was collaborative in designing our bathroom remodel and always provided us with daily updates. I had a total bath remodel 2 years ago with another contractor that left me with several issues.  The major cosmetic issue was the unfinished trim.  Marlon did a beautiful job giving me back the crown molding my previous contractor talked me out of.  He then removed the tacky window and door trim, patched waĺls, painted and replaced with the casing I had wanted originally.  Excellent workmanship and attention to detail.  Excellent work ethic.  Excellent communication.   Already making my list of projects I need THR to fix NEXT.  Thank you THR!

I saw Marlon’s name mentioned on fb a few times for electrical work. He came out tonight to replace 4 outdoor house lights and a lantern light. He was on time and did this in unbearable heat in record time. Such a friendly professional personable guy. I couldn’t recommend Marlon enough. I already need him for my next electrical job!

We highly recommend Tussel home remodeling. They corrected several errors a very inexperienced contractor did to our basement bathroom. They were reasonably priced and worked with a very professional plumber, Ch uck Woernley, to ensure proper drainage of the shower. Great team!
